Blackburn Skips was formed in January 2014 and operates from a fully licensed MRF at Oxford Rd, Burnley where we recycle/reuse 93% of waste that passes through our transfer station.
A ‘Nil to Landfill’ Waste to Energy Service is provided, with a business target to achieve 100% diversion from Landfill. The company also supplies monthly Waste Management Reports for commercial and industrial accounts showing a detailed breakdown of recycled waste to support their business environmental compliance requirements.
BBS supply open skips, enclosed skips and compactor units from 3 cubic yards to 40 cubic yards RO/RO across a range of waste streams. Our 16 Service vehicles (13 CHAIN SKIPS & 3 RO/RO) cover the M65 corridor and outlying areas including Barnoldswick, Earby, Barrowford, Ribble Valley, Rossendale Valley, Ramsbottom, Bacup, Todmorden and Preston, Chorley and Leyland.
